The central action is launching a grappling hook across the river to catch your opponent. Land the hook, and you begin pulling them toward your side. The goal is dragging them fully into your territory before they do the same to you. What sounds straightforward becomes a layered tug-of-war once both players are throwing simultaneously.

Every throw carries risk. Committing to an offensive launch leaves you briefly exposed, and a well-timed counter-hook from the opponent can flip the momentum instantly. The river acts as a neutral zone that neither player fully controls, which keeps every match feeling contested.
