Blocks carrying matching numbers combine when aligned, pushing the target value higher with each successful merge. The challenge creeps up gradually — early moves feel straightforward, but the board fills quickly if combinations aren't planned ahead.

Four special skills are available during play, each offering a different way to recover from a cluttered arrangement or set up a better sequence. Knowing when to use them matters more than using them often.

The color-coded blocks make it easier to scan the board at a glance, which helps when decisions need to happen quickly. Reaching 2048 requires patience and a willingness to think a few moves forward rather than just reacting to what's immediately in front of you.
