Aidan in Danger

Few platformers manage to blend mythology, time travel, and slingshot combat into something that genuinely holds together — Aidan in Danger is one of them. You're playing as a young elf whose job is essentially to keep the last dragon alive while an interdimensional villain makes that very difficult.

The world shifts beneath you as you move through different eras, each bringing new monster types and terrain hazards that change how you approach Aidan's slingshot. There's a real sense that the threat is escalating — not just in difficulty, but narratively. Drakor's survival feels like it actually matters.

What stands out is the atmosphere. The story has genuine stakes, and the level design reflects that urgency rather than just being a backdrop for jumping puzzles.
