Alien Warlord

Somewhere between a retro platformer and a relentless alien brawl lives Alien Warlord, where you play as Tiny Alien — a small but determined fighter taking on an entire empire to recover stolen sacred gems. The world is packed with buzzsaws, missile barrages, pit traps, and creatures that seem genuinely committed to ending your run early.

Your flying companion handles the aiming automatically, locking onto nearby enemies while you focus on movement and survival. That division of responsibility feels clever in practice — dodging becomes your primary language, and reading the terrain matters more than raw firepower.

Scattered power-ups and an in-game shop give you room to build out your character between encounters. Several unlockable fighters each bring something different to the table, which changes how certain sections feel on repeat playthroughs. Boss encounters punctuate the chaos and demand more deliberate thinking than the standard gauntlet sections. It's scrappy, demanding, and worth pushing through.
