Arrow Kid
Pixel worlds have a way of feeling both familiar and surprising, and Arrow Kid leans into that tension beautifully. You play as a scrappy young archer navigating hand-crafted levels where arrows aren't just weapons — they're stepping stones, literally. Shoot one into a wall, then hop onto it to reach a ledge that seemed impossibly out of reach.
That mechanic alone changes how you look at every room. Enemies become secondary concerns once you realize the bigger puzzle is figuring out where to plant your shots for maximum mobility. Keys are scattered across each stage, locked behind gaps and guarded by foes, and getting them demands both timing and a bit of lateral thinking.
The retro pixel art keeps things unpretentious — no elaborate cutscenes, just tight level design and the quiet satisfaction of pulling off a tricky jump sequence you've been staring at for two minutes. It rewards patience without feeling slow.
