Enemies push harder the deeper you go, and the only real reward for clearing a path is a slightly better weapon and another corridor that looks identical to the last. That relentless pressure is exactly what makes it gripping. Every exit found feels earned rather than given.

The atmosphere does a lot of heavy lifting. There's something genuinely unnerving about fighting through spaces that feel wrong by design — too quiet between encounters, too familiar yet completely disorienting. The shooting itself is direct and satisfying, but the setting is what sticks with you.
