Ball Down

Gravity is your enemy in Ball Down — but also your only tool. The ball drops relentlessly, and your job is to keep it bouncing between platforms without letting it slam the ceiling or vanish off the bottom. It sounds manageable until the speed creeps up and the platforms start feeling much smaller than before.

Sloped surfaces send the ball careening sideways, flat ones offer brief relief, and staying on any single platform too long brings its own punishment. There's a rhythm to surviving, though it takes a few crashes before that rhythm starts to feel natural.

The whole thing moves quickly, with no pauses to catch your breath. Short sessions tend to spiral into longer ones, mostly because each attempt ends just one mistake earlier than you'd like. Unpretentious and sharp, it rewards attention without demanding much else.
