Bluebo

Eight levels, one small blue character, and a whole lot of trouble waiting at every turn — Bluebo is a 2D platformer built around the tension of collecting gems without getting caught out by the hazards surrounding them. Spikes line the floors, enemies patrol the platforms, and the path to the finish flag is rarely as clean as it first appears.

What makes it work is the level design. Obstacles are placed with intention, and the difficulty climbs at a pace that feels earned rather than arbitrary. Gaps that seemed manageable earlier become genuinely tricky once enemies start moving in awkward patterns around them.

Gem collection isn't just a side objective — clearing everything before reaching the flag is where the real satisfaction lies. Miss a few and backtracking through hazards becomes its own small challenge. For a compact platformer, Bluebo carries a surprising amount of tension per level.
