Cannon Defenses puts you in charge of a firing line that stands between relentless enemy waves and total defeat. Tanks, foot soldiers, and hulking bosses roll in without pause, and your only answer is a well-placed arsenal of turrets built from the ground up.

The core mechanic revolves around merging. Drag two identical cannons together and they combine into something stronger — repeat this across eight upgrade tiers and your humble starter turrets eventually become devastatingly powerful weapons. Resource management matters just as much as placement; spending too early leaves gaps, spending too late means enemies slip through.

There's a satisfying tension in watching your defenses hold a line that seemed impossible to protect minutes earlier. The boss encounters in particular demand quick thinking about where to redirect firepower. No two runs feel quite the same once you start experimenting with different merge combinations.
