Cats and Trees

There's something quietly satisfying about watching a gang of cats determinedly headbutt their way through a forest. Cats and Trees is an idle game built around that exact absurd premise — felines with purpose, knocking down trees to collect fruit and wood while you nudge things along.

Fourteen fruit types are scattered across the trees, each with its own look and value. The loop is simple but layered: gather resources, invest in upgrades, watch your cats become increasingly efficient little lumberjacks. Deciding which upgrades to prioritize gives the whole thing more texture than you might expect from something so low-key.

The atmosphere leans cozy and unhurried. Nothing is punishing here. It's the kind of game you leave running in a tab, glance at occasionally, and find yourself genuinely invested in without quite knowing when that happened.
