Tiny creatures with no survival instincts whatsoever — that's the premise behind Crazy Lemmings, a frantic rescue game where lemmings hurl themselves off a cliff edge with alarming enthusiasm. Your job is to position a floating craft below and catch them before they vanish into the void.

The physics give the whole thing an unpredictable quality. Lemmings bounce at odd angles, drift sideways, and never quite fall where you expect. Positioning matters more than speed, though both become important once the numbers start climbing.

Catching several at once rewards you more generously, so there's a constant tension between waiting for a better cluster and risking losing stragglers. It's the kind of game that feels simple for about thirty seconds, then quietly starts demanding more attention than you planned to give it.
