Those lemmings have absolutely no survival instinct. In Crazy Lemmings 2, a relentless stream of them flings themselves off clifftops without a second thought, and the only thing standing between them and a very bad landing is you.

Your rescue craft slides back and forth beneath the chaos, bouncing the falling creatures to safety. The pace tightens gradually — more lemmings, less time, tighter margins. Miss a few and the pressure mounts fast.

What makes it compelling isn't complexity but rhythm. There's a satisfying flow when you're in the zone, reading the drop patterns and reacting just ahead of the fall. When that rhythm breaks, the scramble to recover is half the fun. Simple in concept, surprisingly hard to put down.
