Candy, ropes, and a hungry little monster who now has ancestors to feed — Cut the Rope Time Travel takes the classic rope-cutting formula and drops it into a parade of historical eras. Om Nom travels back through time, and each destination brings a second Om Nom ancestor waiting with an open mouth. Two hungry creatures per puzzle changes everything.

The rope-cutting physics that made the original series satisfying carry over intact, but the dual-feeding requirement forces genuinely different thinking. Ancient Egypt, medieval castles, the Stone Age — each setting introduces obstacles and tools specific to its era, so strategies rarely transfer cleanly from one world to the next.

What makes the game stick is how naturally the humor lands. The ancestor designs are absurd in the best way, and watching candy swing through a Viking longhouse or bounce off Renaissance contraptions never quite loses its charm. Puzzle difficulty climbs steadily without ever feeling punishing — just persistent.
