Detto Man 2 is a 2D platformer built around that exact tension: a cheerful visual style wrapped around surprisingly demanding level design. Eight stages stand between you and completion, each one introducing new hazards that demand sharper timing than the last.

The game moves at a pace that feels unhurried at first, almost inviting. That comfort doesn't last. Rotating blades and patrolling enemies gradually turn familiar-looking platforms into genuine obstacles, where a single misjudged jump means starting over. Reaching the exit door after clearing a tricky section carries real satisfaction.

What makes it work is how the difficulty builds without feeling arbitrary. Hazards are placed with enough logic that failure usually teaches something.
