The game opens with whoever holds the highest double — the double six taking precedence — and builds outward from there with each player extending the line or drawing from the pile when no match is possible.

Blocking your opponent matters just as much as clearing your own hand. Positioning a tile that leaves an awkward number exposed can strand a rival mid-game, while careless placement might do the same to you. When the board locks up entirely and no legal moves remain, victory goes to whoever carries the lightest remaining hand by total pip count.
