Dotto Botto

A little robot just wants to get home — and that turns out to be far more complicated than it sounds. Dotto Botto is a platformer built around that simple premise, sending players through ten handcrafted levels packed with spike traps, roaming enemies, and platforms that refuse to stay still. The pixel art world has a retro charm that never feels like a gimmick.

Combat and movement are tight enough that close calls feel earned rather than cheap. Four distinct enemy types demand different approaches, and the traps scattered throughout reward players who take a moment to read the environment before committing to a jump. Rushing almost always ends badly.

Two separate endings give the whole run a reason to be replayed, and a final boss encounter caps everything off with a genuine spike in intensity. Whether you find the good ending or not on the first attempt, the journey back through Dotto's world feels different once you know what's coming.
