Few browser games carry the weight that Drink Drive Survive does. The premise is deliberately uncomfortable — you're behind the wheel after drinking, and the game doesn't let you forget it. Controls feel sluggish and unreliable, the road swims slightly, and what seems like a manageable turn can become a disaster in seconds.

The simulation captures impairment through the actual mechanics rather than just a warning screen. Reaction windows shrink, steering drifts, and the gap between what you intend and what happens grows wider the further you push through. It's an unsettling feeling that's hard to shake.

What makes the experience stick is that nothing about it feels preachy in a heavy-handed way — the message lands through the gameplay itself. Surviving a run doesn't feel triumphant so much as lucky, which is probably the point.
