Fireboy And Watergirl 2-the Light Temple

Light puzzles, pressure plates, and two very different heroes — Fireboy and Watergirl 2: The Light Temple builds on the original with cleverer level design and more demanding cooperation. The temple's ancient mechanisms rely on beams of light that must be redirected using mirrors and prisms, and figuring out who moves where becomes genuinely tricky.

Fireboy burns through lava pools without hesitation but dissolves in water. Watergirl glides through blue pools but can't survive fire. Green pools? Neither of them can touch those. That one rule alone reshapes how you think about every room.

Solo players juggle both characters at once, which demands split attention and a kind of mental multitasking that takes a few levels to click. Bring a second player and the whole experience shifts — suddenly you're negotiating, timing movements, calling out which switch to hit first. Both versions of the game feel meaningfully different.
