Fireboy and Watergirl: Forest Temple

Fireboy and Watergirl: Forest Temple drops two elemental characters into an ancient woodland maze filled with pressure plates, levers, and glowing gem pools. One player controls the fire-wielding boy, the other guides the water-dwelling girl — or a single player can manage both simultaneously.

The core tension comes from incompatibility. Fireboy dissolves in water, Watergirl burns in fire, and both perish in the murky green pools scattered throughout the temple. Puzzles demand precise coordination, with each character activating mechanisms the other cannot reach alone.

The forest setting gives the levels a moody, atmospheric quality — dim light filtering through ancient stone, glowing crystals marking safe paths. Cooperation, whether with a friend or within a single pair of hands, is the only way forward.
