Fish Love

Somewhere between a puzzle game and a tiny love story, Fish Love asks you to keep two fish safe so they can simply be together. Explosives, lava, snapping crabs — the obstacles feel almost absurdly dramatic for such a tender goal, and that contrast is a big part of the charm.

The atmosphere does a lot of quiet work here. Soft music, gentle sound design, and a visual style that feels warm rather than flashy give the whole thing an unhurried quality — even when you're frantically trying to stop something from blowing up.

Solving each stage means reading the environment carefully, figuring out which elements interact with which, and sometimes accepting that your first instinct was completely wrong. The satisfaction isn't loud, but it's genuine. Two fish reunited. Level cleared. Onto the next small crisis.
