Flappy Talking Tom

Flappy Talking Tom puts a familiar face on a well-worn concept — the one-button obstacle gauntlet — and makes it work through sheer character. Tom bobs and dips through a gauntlet of hazards, and keeping him airborne requires a rhythm that's much harder to find than it looks.

A single mouse click lifts Tom upward. Release it and gravity pulls him back down. The gaps between obstacles demand patience more than speed, and the temptation to overcorrect is what gets most players into trouble. One tap too many and Tom clips the ceiling; one too few and he drops straight into a barrier.

Scores are low at first, then gradually creep up as the timing clicks. There's a quiet satisfaction when a run finally strings together cleanly, and the competitive pull of beating a personal best keeps things interesting well beyond the first few attempts.
