Fruits Mahjong replaces the traditional tile artwork with cheerful fruit imagery, giving the classic matching format a lighter, more approachable feel. The rules stay familiar — find and remove pairs of matching tiles — but only tiles with at least one open side are available to select. That single constraint shapes every decision you make.

A countdown timer runs throughout each round, so there's no lingering over choices. Hints are available when a match feels impossible to spot, though saving them pays off — unused hints convert into bonus points at the end, as does any remaining time on the clock. It quietly rewards players who move with both speed and intention.

The board clears one pair at a time, and the shifting layout after each removal can open up new possibilities or close them off entirely. Thinking a move or two ahead makes a noticeable difference, especially when the timer is running low and the remaining tiles start looking scarce.
