Gakkul

Gakkul is a 2D platformer built around a simple but surprisingly tense premise — a boy sneaking through private gardens to steal mangoes. The owners aren't happy about it, and neither are the spikes.

Eight gardens stand between the boy and his goal. Each one hides mangoes in awkward spots, surrounded by sharp hazards and patrolling guardians who will end the run if you get careless. Reaching the yellow flag at the end of a stage requires collecting enough fruit first, so rushing through blindly rarely works out.

The difficulty climbs steadily across the stages, demanding sharper timing and more deliberate movement as layouts grow more complex. There's a certain rhythm to navigating each garden — studying the patterns, finding the safest route, then committing to it. Small mistakes cost more the further in you get, which gives the whole thing a quiet tension that keeps the stakes feeling real despite the lighthearted setup.
