Cupcakes scattered across dangerous platforms, spinning saws closing in from both sides — Gozu Adventures 2 wastes no time throwing you into the thick of it. The premise sounds lighthearted, but the eight levels here have real bite to them.

Flying enemies swoop at awkward moments, spike pits punish hesitation, and the rotating hazards demand a rhythm that takes a few deaths to truly internalize. There's something satisfying about finally threading through a section that's killed you four times running.

The level designs stay varied enough that nothing feels recycled. Layouts shift, enemy placements change the calculation, and the path to the exit door rarely stays obvious. Collecting every cupcake before escaping is the goal, but it's the journey between those two things that does all the work.
