Hexable

Hexable takes the familiar block-puzzle format and shifts it onto a hexagonal grid, which changes everything. The six-sided board forces you to think about rows and columns in ways that feel genuinely different from square-grid puzzles. Pieces come in irregular shapes, and fitting them together without running out of space is harder than it first looks.

Clearing a full line — whether it runs horizontally or diagonally across the hex grid — removes those tiles and keeps the board playable. Let the board fill up without completing any lines, and the game ends. That tension between placing pieces quickly and placing them wisely is where most of the interesting decisions happen.

The shapes cycle through unpredictably, so long-term planning only goes so far. Adaptability matters more than having a fixed strategy. Simple to pick up, but genuinely difficult to play well for long stretches — Hexable rewards patience and a good eye for spatial patterns.
