Timing is everything in High Jump. A lone figure stands on a platform while blocks drift in from the sides, each moving at its own unpredictable rhythm. The moment a block lines up just right, a single tap sends the character launching upward — land cleanly and the score climbs, hesitate or misjudge and it's a tumbling fall.

What makes this surprisingly gripping is how quickly your instincts sharpen. Early jumps feel uncertain, almost random, but after a few rounds the eyes start reading the movement patterns faster. The gap between a clean landing and a mistimed leap narrows, and that tension is where most of the satisfaction lives.

There's no elaborate setup, no lengthy progression — just the rhythm of watching, waiting, and committing to the jump at exactly the right instant. Simple to pick up, genuinely tricky to master consistently.
