Klondike
Few card games have held up as well as Klondike — and there's a reason for that. The quiet tension of flipping a card from the stock pile, hoping it's exactly what you need, never really gets old. It's a game built on patience more than luck, though luck certainly has its moments.
The goal is straightforward: move all cards onto four foundation piles sorted by suit from Ace through King. What makes it absorbing is the constant weighing of options — which column to uncover, when to draw, whether a move that feels right now will box you in three turns later.
There's something almost meditative about a well-played hand. No pressure, no timer bearing down — just the slow satisfaction of watching the tableau untangle itself through careful thinking.
