Kuma Bear 2

Chocolate bars don't collect themselves — and in Kuma Bear 2, that's precisely the problem. This cheerful 2D platformer follows a determined little bear navigating eight handcrafted stages, each packed with enemies, spikes, and scattered sweets standing between him and the way home.

Dogs, foxes, and dive-bombing birds patrol the levels with enough persistence to keep things genuinely tense. Mistimed jumps mean starting over, and the later stages demand a sharper read of the environment than the early ones let on.

What makes it work is the balance — forgiving enough to stay enjoyable, demanding enough that clearing a tricky stage actually feels earned. The bear's quest is modest, the world compact, but the satisfaction of grabbing that last chocolate bar and sprinting to the exit doesn't wear thin.
