Locoman 2

Locoman 2 picks up where its predecessor left off, dropping players into a side-scrolling world of platforms, spikes, and creatures that would rather you didn't reach the exit. Eight levels stand between you and completion, each one a bit more demanding than the last.

The core loop is straightforward — find the silver keys scattered through each stage, avoid anything that moves or stabs, and reach the door. What makes it work is the gradual layering of hazards. Early stages give you room to breathe. Later ones don't.

Flying enemies require different timing than ground-based ones, and the spike placements feel deliberate rather than random. There's a certain rhythm to navigating the trickier sections once you've died on them enough times to understand the pattern.

Compared to the original, the level design here shows more ambition. Platforms are tighter, enemy placement more considered. It's the kind of 2D platformer that rewards patience without demanding perfection.
