Memory for Faces

Memory for Faces challenges your ability to recognize and recall human faces under increasing pressure. A set of portraits appears briefly on screen, then disappears — your job is to identify which faces you've seen before when they're mixed back in with new ones.

The game taps into something genuinely tricky about human perception. Faces are subtle, and the differences between strangers can be surprisingly difficult to pin down, especially when time is short and the pool of portraits grows larger.

Concentration sharpens with repetition, and this is a good place to put that to the test. Whether you're naturally good with faces or convinced you're terrible at it, the results tend to be humbling.
