Hunger is the only rule in Mutant Snake. The arena is packed with writhing competitors, each one desperate to consume and expand, and you're just another snake trying not to become someone else's meal. There's something almost primal about it — chasing down smaller targets while keeping one eye on the massive predators circling nearby.

Growth changes everything. A snake that starts small and cautious can become an unstoppable wall of coiling muscle if fed well enough. Cornering an opponent, cutting off their escape, watching them collide — these moments feel genuinely earned rather than accidental.

The chaos never really settles. Snakes cross paths unpredictably, alliances of convenience form and dissolve in seconds, and a single misjudged turn can end a run that took minutes to build. It rewards patience just as often as aggression, which keeps the whole thing from feeling one-dimensional.
