Pirate Bombs

Rising water, bouncing whales, and a pirate in a striped shirt — Pirate Bombs doesn't take itself seriously, and that's exactly what makes it work. Jack scrambles through each stage collecting bombs while the ocean creeps up beneath him, turning what seems like a breezy platformer into something genuinely tense.

The green whales are both obstacle and opportunity. Stomp one to clear the way, grab the bomb it was guarding, and keep moving — hesitation is what gets you. The rising water isn't decoration; it's a constant pressure that changes how you think about every jump.

There's a scrappy charm to the whole thing. The visuals are cheerful, the stakes feel surprisingly real, and the door at the end of each stage becomes almost taunting when the water's at Jack's chin. Short levels mean quick retries, which means one more run almost always feels worth it.
