Plants vs Zombies

Plants vs Zombies puts you in charge of defending a suburban lawn against waves of the undead, armed with nothing but an arsenal of botanical fighters. Sunflowers generate the solar currency you need to plant everything else, while Peashooters, Cherry Bombs, and dozens of other species handle the actual combat. The balance between collecting resources and spending them quickly enough is where most of the tension lives.

Zombies arrive with escalating tricks — some wear traffic cones as makeshift helmets, others ride on bobsled teams or show up with screen doors as shields. Recognizing which threat to prioritize becomes second nature after a while, but new zombie types keep disrupting whatever routine you've settled into.

Between the main lawn levels there are roof stages, nighttime swamp scenarios, and foggy graveyards that each impose different constraints on your planting options. The variety is genuine rather than cosmetic, forcing real adjustments to how you approach each setup. Casual enough for short sessions, layered enough to hold attention well beyond them.
