The game builds pressure gradually. Early waves are manageable, almost deceptively so, but the second half of each stage shifts the tone entirely. Zombie types diversify, movement patterns grow unpredictable, and the margin for error shrinks fast.

Positioning matters here as much as firepower. Scavenging ammo and power-ups mid-fight becomes second nature once you realize how quickly supplies run dry. There's a rhythm to surviving each stage — read the wave, adjust your stance, prioritize targets — and finding that rhythm is where the real satisfaction comes from.
