Highway mode demands the most attention — traffic comes at you constantly, and oil slicks scattered across the road can send your car spinning at the worst moment. Coins collected along the way feed into upgrades, so there's a reason to keep pushing even when the road gets chaotic.

Arena mode strips things back to pure competition, tight corners, and close racing. Free Ride, on the other hand, lets you ignore all of that and just drive. It's a good way to get a feel for how your vehicle handles before committing to anything more demanding.
