Puppet Hockey

There's something genuinely ridiculous about Puppet Hockey — floppy puppet characters flailing around an ice rink, physics that send the puck careening off in directions nobody expected, and the very real possibility of losing to a friend in the most humiliating way possible. It's hockey stripped of all seriousness and replaced with something much more entertaining.

Twelve international teams, each represented by these wonderfully absurd puppet figures, compete in frantic 1-on-1 matches where momentum shifts constantly. The puck behaves with just enough unpredictability that no lead ever feels truly safe. One moment you're dominating, the next the puck has bounced off the boards three times and somehow ended up in your own net.

Playing against a friend sitting next to you produces the best results — the arguments, the disbelief, the immediate demand for a rematch. Against online opponents it's more anonymous but no less chaotic. Either way, the matches are short and sharp, which makes it very easy to lose track of how long you've been playing.
