Eight levels stand between you and victory in Putot, a pixelated platformer where the real danger isn't just the enemies — it's how quickly they stack up. Alien creatures patrol the ground, flying things swoop overhead, and rotating lasers carve through spaces you'd otherwise consider safe. Treasure cubes are scattered throughout, tempting you to take routes you probably shouldn't.

The game rewards patience as much as quick reflexes. Rushing through a room full of spike traps and enemy fire rarely ends well, but lingering too long invites its own problems. Finding that rhythm — when to move, when to wait, when to cut your losses and leave a cube behind — is what makes reaching the Exit door feel genuinely earned.

Visually, Putot leans into its retro aesthetic without feeling dated. The levels grow more layered and demanding as you advance, introducing new hazard combinations that force you to rethink approaches that worked perfectly well a stage earlier.
