Ratatron puts you in control of a relentless mechanical rat navigating through tight corridors, obstacle-laden tunnels, and increasingly hostile environments. The movement feels twitchy in the best way — quick reflexes matter, and every wrong turn costs you.

Hazards come at unpredictable intervals, forcing you to read patterns while staying in constant motion. There's a rhythm to surviving that takes time to find, but once it clicks, the game opens up in satisfying ways.

The aesthetic leans into a gritty, industrial underground feel — dim lighting, clanking machinery, narrow passages that barely give you room to breathe. It's not flashy, but the atmosphere does real work in building tension as the difficulty climbs.
