Red Moon

Every decade, the moon bleeds red — and with it comes the age of the Red Samurais. Red Moon is a side-scrolling action game built around that mythology, following a warrior named Eivana as she cuts through a corrupt king's forces across 20 increasingly punishing levels.

Combat is fast and unforgiving, with waves of enemies that demand more than button-mashing to survive. Two boss encounters break up the progression and require real patience to read and defeat. Scattered throughout the levels are collectibles that unlock concept art and music, giving the world a bit more texture beyond the fighting.

Thirteen medals track your accomplishments — some tied to skill, others to exploration. It's a decent reason to revisit levels after clearing them the first time. Nothing here reinvents the genre, but the setting is distinct and the action stays engaging throughout.
