The overhead perspective gives races a distinctly classic feel while keeping the action readable and immediate.

Scattered across each track are power-ups that can genuinely swing a race. Speed bursts, obstacles dropped behind you, temporary shields — none of these are just decoration. Knowing when to hold onto one versus burning it at the wrong moment is where most races are actually won or lost.

The tracks themselves involve enough twists to punish overconfidence without feeling unfair. Both players share the same screen, which creates that particular kind of tension that only local multiplayer delivers — close, a little chaotic, and hard to walk away from after a narrow loss.
