Bouncing a ball into a pipe might sound trivial, but RicoShoot turns that premise into a genuinely tricky puzzle. The ball doesn't travel in straight lines to its destination — it needs to bounce off walls, and finding the right angle is the entire point.

What adds real tension is the hitpoint system. Green walls damage the ball on contact, so every unnecessary bounce chips away at your remaining health. Getting the ball to the pipe isn't enough; the route matters just as much as the destination. Across 30 levels, the layouts grow more demanding, requiring careful thought before each shot rather than trial and error.

The satisfaction comes from working out the geometry of a tight space, then watching the ball trace exactly the path you planned. Miss the angle slightly and you'll burn through hitpoints fast. Nail it and the whole sequence feels clean and deliberate — which is exactly what the game rewards.
