Survival in Roguelike RPG is never guaranteed. Procedurally generated maps mean no two runs feel the same — corridors shift, enemies reposition, and the loot you find one session may never appear again. Combat demands attention, not just button-mashing, and a wrong move against the wrong enemy can end everything.

Between fights, scavenging matters. Weapons and items scattered across the map can dramatically change how a run unfolds, rewarding exploration as much as raw combat ability. Growing stronger feels earned here rather than automatic.

The appeal lies in the accumulation of knowledge across failed attempts. Death teaches something every time, and gradually the dungeon starts feeling less like chaos and more like a puzzle worth solving.
