Shelf Shift Match is the kind of puzzle game that makes you pause mid-move, second-guessing a decision you were completely confident about three seconds ago. Items line the shelves, and sliding them into groups of three clears space — but the shelves are unforgiving when you run out of room.

Beneath ordinary items, shadowed shapes wait to be uncovered. The satisfaction of revealing one depends entirely on whether you've been thinking two or three moves ahead, which is harder than it sounds when the board starts filling up.

A shuffle option exists for when things go sideways, though leaning on it too heavily tends to expose how quickly a board can fall apart. The real challenge is reading the shelf before it reads you.
