Short Path Race

Tiles are currency in Short Path Race, and spending them wrong is what loses races. You're sprinting along a narrow strip above open water, grabbing platform pieces mid-run and slapping them down wherever the track runs out — which happens more than you'd expect.

The tension comes from knowing you might need those tiles later. Drop them all in the first gap and the final section becomes an impossible puzzle with no pieces left to solve it. Hold them too long and you fall behind, watching opponents pull ahead while you hesitate.

It's the kind of game where the worst mistakes feel entirely self-inflicted, which somehow makes winning feel much better.
