Balancing on a shrinking platform while yanking blocks out from underneath yourself sounds like a recipe for disaster — and in Slide Stack, it absolutely is, until you get good at it. The core tension is weirdly compelling: pull too fast and the whole structure collapses, hesitate too long and time runs out.

There's a rhythm to it that takes a while to feel. At first every removal seems like a gamble, but patterns start to emerge. Certain configurations telegraph their weak points, and reading them becomes second nature after enough failed attempts.

The satisfaction isn't in finishing a level cleanly — it's in surviving one that looked completely unsalvageable. That moment where the stack should have crumbled but somehow didn't is what keeps pulling you back for another round.
