Dreams shouldn't be this dangerous. Somnokid drops you into a shifting dreamscape where the ground beneath your feet isn't guaranteed — you have to build it yourself, mid-run, before the monsters close in. It's a strange mashup of platforming and shooting wrapped around a construction mechanic that makes every moment feel genuinely precarious.

The tension comes from juggling two things at once: laying down platforms so you don't fall into nothing, and blasting away the creatures that keep spawning with little patience for your architectural ambitions. Neither task can wait for the other. That pressure — build or fight, but really you have to do both — gives the game an almost frantic rhythm that's hard to shake once it gets going.
