Grid puzzles rarely demand this kind of spatial foresight, but Star Lines earns its difficulty honestly. The board fills with colored stars, and your job is to slide them into lines of five — same color, same row or column — before the grid runs out of room.

Movement has one strict rule: a clear path must exist between the star and its destination. No path, no move. Miss a match and three new stars drop onto the board immediately, shrinking your options and raising the stakes with every turn.

What makes it genuinely absorbing is the tension between short-term clearing and long-term positioning. A move that scores now might box you in two turns later. The board doesn't wait — it keeps filling, keeps pressuring, keeps demanding better decisions than the last ones you made.
