Steve Adventures throws you into a side-scrolling world where collecting coins and reaching specific characters are the twin goals keeping you moving forward. Steve runs, jumps, and crouches through a series of levels, each built around different terrain and obstacle arrangements that demand a bit of thought before charging ahead.

Gold coins are scattered across every stage, some in plain sight, others tucked behind tricky gaps or above hazards that punish careless jumps. Touching the disabled characters spread throughout the levels acts as a secondary objective, adding a layer of purpose beyond simply reaching the end. Miss too many and you'll feel it.

The platforming stays accessible without becoming forgettable. Obstacles shift in placement and timing across stages, so muscle memory from earlier levels only takes you so far. A decent run requires both decent reflexes and a willingness to slow down occasionally and read the layout before committing.
