Steve and Alex drops you into a blocky, hazard-filled world where Steve must track down ten scattered obsidian fragments to assemble a portal capable of freeing the trapped Alex. The world feels familiar yet unpredictable, with platforms that demand precision and paths that rarely go in a straight line.

TNT blocks are scattered throughout the levels with cruel generosity — brush against one and the explosion sends you straight back to square one. Falling is equally punishing. The margin for error is narrow enough that momentum builds naturally, pushing you to memorize routes and refine your approach rather than stumble through blindly.

What makes the journey compelling is how the obsidian pieces are tucked into awkward corners and elevated spots that require genuine effort to reach. Gathering all ten before stepping through the Alexsin portal feels earned. The story is simple, but the platforming does enough work to make completing it genuinely satisfying.
