Sun and Moon

Sun and Moon is a rhythm-based platformer where the player controls two characters simultaneously — one bound to the ground, one soaring through the air — each responding to the same inputs in opposite ways. The tension between them is the whole point.

Levels are built around this duality. Timing matters more than speed, and the visual design reinforces the push-pull between light and dark, rise and fall. Getting both characters through safely requires a kind of split-focus thinking that takes time to develop but clicks in satisfying ways once it does.

There's a meditative quality to the better runs — rhythm, patience, and spatial awareness working together rather than fighting each other. Mistakes tend to be instructive rather than frustrating. The learning curve is real, but the game never feels unfair about it.
